Gateway Update Automated Driver driver update utility
Note: This utility is for U.S. customers only. Overseas customers may experience problems if this utility is used.
In order to install this utility, please note where you save the file, gtwupd.exe. After finding and double-clicking the file, the Gateway Update Utility will be installed on your computer. To launch the utility:
- Click Start, then Gateway Update.
OR
- Click Start, Programs, Gateway Utilities, then Gateway Update.
Once launched, Gateway Update will connect to our Web site and analyze your system to determine if there are newer drivers available for your computer. Follow the on-screen instructions to download and install the updated drivers.

- Click on Download Now.
- Select a location to save the file gtwupd.exe, and click Save. We recommend that you save the file to your computer desktop.
- After the file has been downloaded, locate file name gtwupd.exe where you downloaded it, and double click the icon to extract the setup files.
