The Gateway Resource Assistant is a hardware diagnostic and information tool which offers suggestions to reduce the number of lockups and errors and to improve the performance of the computer.

The utility takes a snapshot of the amount of resources that the computer has available at each startup. If a significant change in the amount of free resources is detected, the Gateway Resource Assistant will provide a helpful information screen.
