Q: How do I remove a program from the Start Menu?

A: Use the following instructions:

  1. locate and click the Start button. From the Start menu, point to Settings, then click Taskbar.

  2. Click the Start Menu Programs tab. Click Remove in the Customize Start Menu box.

  3. Click the + beside the StartUp folder.

  4. Click the item you would like to remove, then click Remove.

  5. Once the item has been removed, click Close. At the Taskbar Properties window, click OK.

NOTE: This operation does not delete the actual program. It just removes the shortcut to the program on the menu. To remove a program, use the Add/Remove Programs icon in the Control Panel.
