Follow the procedure below:
- Access the CMOS setup (Hit CTRL-ALT-ESC at the DOS prompt).
- Press PGDN to access the second screen
- Press the Down arrow until you highlight the setting called "Map FE0000-FFFFFF."
- Change the setting to "RAM" instead of "ROM."
Q: How far can I upgrade the CPU on a PowerPro or ProVeisa?
ALR offers a 486-DX2 CPU module for the PowerPro or ProVeisa. It is also possible to upgrade a 486DX-33 with an Intel Overdrive (DX266-ODPR). The Intel DX4 Overdrive is not recommended by ALR. Installing it may interfere physically with the ALR CachePak.

The ProVeisa LT has a ZIF (Zero Insertion Force) socket that will accept Intel Overdrives of 66MHz DX2, 100MHz DX4 and 83MHz Pentium.
