Q: I would like to increase the amount of RAM on my computer. Do I need EDO, SDRAM, or Fast Page Mode memory? What part numbers do I need to order from Gateway?

A: The best way to tell what kind of memory you have is to look at the description of the memory on the invoice that came with your computer. The description will state EDO or SDRAM. If it doesn't state anything about the type of memory, then your memory is Fast Page Mode. If you can't find your invoice, the best way to get this information is to send an email to technical support.
