Battery still displays 00% after charging

ISSUE: After attempting to charge a Solo 2300 or 9100, the battery may display a status of 00% and may not accept a charge. This typically occurs only after the battery has been left completely discharged for an extended period of time, after running the Learning.exe version 1.3 program, or after a fully charged battery has been left completely out of a computer for a period of several months or more.

Note: After running Learning.exe version 1.3, the program may also report a status of abnormal. This issue is often avoided by regularly charging the battery. For example, seat or re-seat the battery and A/C adapter as necessary and, with the computer plugged into the adapter, allow the battery to charge up to approximately 100%.
