NAFEO

Gateway has teamed up with NAFEO (the National Organization For Equal Opportunity) to help give African American students across the country easier access to this valuable technology.
Benefits of the Gateway/NAFEO alliance
  • NAFEO Institutions, Students, Faculty, Staff and Alumni receive special pricing on Gateway computers.
  • Gateway reserves a percentage of the total cumulative net sales of Gateway products to NAFEO affiliated schools, staff, faculty members, students and alumni for scholarships and other NAFEO administrated student programs.
  • Gateway has established a rebate program through which NAFEO schools can receive a quarterly rebate based on the dollar amount of product purchases made by the school, its staff, faculty members, students and alumni.
  • Gateway is working with NAFEO to recruit students from NAFEO affiliated campuses for paid corporate internship positions and future career opportunities.
What is NAFEO?
The National Association For Equal Opportunity in higher education (NAFEO) is an association of 118 Historically and predominantly Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Since its inception in 1969, NAFEO's chief objective has been to implement programs and policies, which positively affect minority student enrollment and ensure an increase of Black students in HBCU establishments.

The 118 NAFEO institutions consist of public and private institutions, two-year and four-year institutions, as well as graduate and professional schools located across the United States and in the Virgin Islands. These institutions enroll upwards of 370,000 students and graduate approximately one-third of all Black students annually with undergraduate, graduate and professional degrees.
