For Gateway desktops, servers, and portables, Extended Care Limited Warranty Services provides a comprehensive support program that includes parts, labor, on-site service, and remote support - all designed to help you extend the life of your computer.

The Extended Care Limited Warranty Services program includes:

Parts:
" During the limited warranty period, Gateway will: (1) provide replacement parts necessary to repair the product or (2) replace the product with a comparable product.
" All replacement parts will be new or serviceably used, comparable in function and performance to the original part or product, and warranted for the remainder of the original limited warranty.

Labor:
" Gateway may provide warranty or repair service at its various service locations and/or third party providers.

On-Site Service:
" This option provides service and replacement of parts, as Gateway deems necessary.

Remote Support:
" Offerings include: eSupport, Gateway Technical Support, Automated Troubleshooting System (ATS), and FaxBack Service.

If you purchased on-site service, it will be provided only if an authorized representative determines it is necessary because your problem cannot be corrected through other means. On-site service is not available in all locations and excludes mice, keyboards, docking stations, external peripherals and monitors. The Extended Care Limited Warranty does not cover external mice, keyboards, printers, docking stations, AC adapters, rack mount servers, monitors, LCD displays for portables, scanners, batteries, external peripherals, add-on components or components purchased after point of sale.
