Here at Gateway, we have a good reputation for building computers that run smoothly. But like any system, from time to time you may encounter an issue that requires assistance. Gateway support technicians are ready to answer your questions and listen to your needs. So you're not only getting great service-you're getting it from people who truly care about solving your problems.

Gateway offers several types of standard limited warranty packages, so no matter what type of service and support you need, Gateway can help. Services include:

Parts Services -

In the event that your Gateway Technical Support determines you have a defective part within your system, we will provide the necessary replacement parts to fix it. And, if necessary, assistance to replace parts is available at Gateway Depots and Gateway Country Store service centers. To find a store near you, click here and select your state.

 

Labor Service - Gateway will fix your computer under the limited warranty that applies to your system. Together, we will decide which of these services makes the most sense.

  • On-Site Service- Most Gateway systems come with some period of on-site service as part of the limited warranty. When Gateway determines that on-site service is necessary, a Service Engineer is dispatched to your location to help resolve your issues. On-site service is available for most Gateway products and is delivered by the end of next business day, depending on parts availability.
  • In-store Service - Gateway Country Store service centers provide convenient, flexible options for local service repair. Within each of our 280-plus Gateway Country Store service centers you'll find a certified Customer Service Representative who will evaluate your system and provide the following repair functions:
    • Diagnostic services
    • System repair services for both in and out of warranty repair
    • Part order capabilities
    • Repair research capabilities

  • Return to Factory - Gateway provides return-to-factory repair service for its systems through the national deport repair facility. The malfunctioning system is shipped to Gateway's depot, where it is repaired by one of our highly trained Service Engineers. Once repaired the system is shipped back to you via overnight carrier.

 

Technical Support Services

    Your technical support options consist of but are not limited to:

  • Gateway eSupport- if you prefer to receive technical support online, Gateway's eSupport is the answer. Combining the latest web technology with live interaction, Gateway eSupport makes it faster and easier to obtain service information and technical support specific to your system.   • Telephone Technical Support- A Gateway Support Technician will work with you over the phone to diagnose and resolve your hardware and/or software issues. Our Support Technicians are trained to handle your specific customer segment and hardware platform, providing you with the unique, comprehensive and individual support your organization deserves. Our Support Technicians will assist you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and can be reached through our toll-free number at: 1-877-485-1464.

PC Health and Maintenance Made Easy - As a Gateway customer you have access to our PC Health and Maintenance Seminar* designed to teach you how to take care of your new Gateway computer.
